The short answer: self-serve plans run from $0 to $129/month, with the paid tiers buying monthly credit bundles of 270 to 3,000 credits — and those credits expire at the end of every billing cycle, used or not. The longer answer needs a decoder, because Higgsfield prices in credits whose value depends on which model you run, serves different plan catalogues to different countries, and sells "unlimited" plans with a list of asterisks. Above those sit Team (reported around $79 per seat per month, up to nine seats) and Scale/Enterprise (custom, 15 seats with SSO) — those figures come from a single source, so treat them as approximate. There is also reportedly a $3 one-time pass (40 credits plus two days of unlimited Soul 2.0 image generation) as the cheapest way in. Two honest caveats: Higgsfield serves different catalogues by country — one reviewer in India saw entirely different tiers ($9/$43/$79) the same week — and two careful write-ups six days apart disagreed on whether the free plan still exists at all. What you see may not match what you read here or anywhere else.

What a credit actually buys

Credits are the real currency, and their value depends entirely on the model and settings you run. From Higgsfield's own pricing materials, as transcribed by the September 2026 write-ups:

• Nano Banana Pro image: about 2 credits, roughly double at 4K.
• Kling 3.0 video: about 7–10 credits for a five-second 720p clip, and around 30 at 4K.
• Seedance 2.0: about 17 credits fast or 22–23 standard per five seconds; Seedance 2.5 runs about 52 credits for eight seconds at 720p.
• Sora 2: about 10 credits per four-second 720p clip, with Pro variants several times that.
• Veo 3.1: about 11 credits fast or 29 standard per four seconds.
• Cinema Studio (camera motion plus upscale): 80 credits and up per shot.

Run the maths on Starter and 270 credits is roughly 27 five-second Kling clips or 135 images — a decent month for a casual creator. The Generate button shows the exact charge before you confirm, which is genuinely good practice.

The part the pricing page doesn't lead with: expiry

Subscription credits do not roll over. Whatever you haven't spent dies at the end of each credit cycle — and on annual plans the credits still drip out every 30 days rather than arriving as a year upfront, so paying annually does not bank you a reserve. Top-up packs (80 credits for $5 up to 1,700 for $80) require an active subscription and expire 90 days after purchase. Plus and Ultra auto-refill when you drop below 500 credits, which is convenient until you forget it's on. The pattern is consistent: Higgsfield's pricing is built to keep value moving, and an occasional user's unused balance is part of the model.

Refund terms match that philosophy: refunds within seven days of the initial purchase only, and only if you've used zero credits; renewals are non-refundable, and a service fee of up to 6% applies. Listed prices exclude VAT.

The "unlimited" asterisks

Higgsfield's "365-Day Unlimited" offer covers a named list of models per plan card — not everything — and runs in a standard queue with "dynamic speed adjustments" at peak times. It applies on the web app only: the MCP server, CLI, Canvas and the Supercomputer agent all bill credits regardless. Separately, Plus and Ultra include a seven-day unlimited window on Kling 3.0 and Nano Banana 2 (Ultra adds Nano Banana Pro at 2K) that then reverts to credits — while Sora 2 and Veo 3.1 always cost credits. None of this is hidden exactly, but none of it is on the first screen either.

One more term worth knowing: Higgsfield's Terms of Use license the company to train on your inputs and outputs unless you delete the content or hold an Enterprise agreement. The same terms don't restrict your commercial use of outputs — though the pricing table marks commercial use "not included" on the free tier, a mismatch Higgsfield hasn't clarified.

Higgsfield vs Hermosso pricing, like for like

The philosophical difference is expiry. Hermosso's Starter plan is $9/month for 5,000 credits — 50 credits = 1 photo — and credits never expire: an unused month is still yours next year, on monthly or annual billing alike. Higgsfield's pricing is competitive per clip and confusing per month: credits that expire, top-ups that expire faster, an annual toggle that still drips monthly, regional catalogues, and "unlimited" offers bounded by model lists and queues. If you're a daily video creator, run the numbers at your real volume — it can be the right buy. If you're an occasional user, the expiry rules mean the cheapest plan is the one whose credits survive until you need them — which is the entire reason Hermosso's don't expire.
