Aragon AI Review 2026: Pricing, Quality and Where It Falls Short

Aragon is a one-time-payment AI headshot service: you upload at least six selfies, it trains a personal model, and 15–45 minutes later you get a batch of 40–100 professional headshots for $35–$75. It is one of the two defaults in this category, and for a single batch of corporate headshots it does the job well. Those are list prices: Aragon discounts near-constantly — a 20%-off banner was live on the pricing page the day we checked — so treat $35/$45/$75 as the ceiling, not the price. There are no subscriptions and no credits to decode; each package also includes a batch of edit credits for touching up individual results. What using it is like

The flow is the category standard: upload a minimum of six selfies (Aragon recommends 10–14 with varied angles and lighting), the service trains a model of your face per order, and you get an email when the batch is ready. Likeness is generally strong when the inputs are good — the same caveat as every training-based tool: dark, filtered or same-angle selfies in, flattering stranger out.

What Aragon does well

• Speed at the top tier. Fifteen minutes from upload to 100 headshots is among the fastest turnarounds in the category.
• Security posture. Aragon holds a SOC 2 Type II attestation (audited by Prescient Security via Vanta) — the trust signal enterprise buyers ask for, and not universal in this market.
• A real refund policy. A free redo first, then a full refund if you're unhappy — as long as you haven't downloaded the photos. Fair, and clearly stated.
• Reputation. Around 4.8 on Trustpilot across roughly 6,400 reviews, and a founding team with ex-MIT/Meta/Google research backgrounds.

Where Aragon falls short

• It does one job. Aragon is a headshot factory — no photo editing suite, no restoration, no upscaler, no video, no personal model you can reuse for a dating profile or a costume shoot. If your next need is anything other than another headshot batch, you're buying another tool.
• Every order starts from zero. Because the model is trained per order, next quarter's updated headshot means another upload round, another training run and another payment. There is no persistent "you" on the platform.
• List prices are a fiction. The perpetual discounting means you never quite know the real price — fine for a deal, odd for budgeting.
• Resolution caps below 4K on two of three tiers. Basic and Standard deliver 896×1088 — fine for LinkedIn, tight for print or heavy cropping.

If you need 60 corporate headshots once and never think about AI photos again, buy it with confidence.
