Standard or Premium?

Step up to Premium (1080p, 500 credits) when the clip is going somewhere bigger — a website hero, an ad, a large screen — or when the source photo has fine detail worth preserving. A sensible workflow is to draft on Standard until the motion looks right, then re-render the winner on Premium.

Tips for natural-looking motion

• Start with a sharp, well-lit photo. Video models build on what's there — a clean source frame gives clean motion.
• Ask for one motion, not three. "Slowly smiles and blinks" lands better than a complicated sequence crammed into 5 seconds.
• Subtle beats dramatic. Small movements — wind, a glance, a smile — look the most real.
• Keep the background simple if you want the focus on the subject's movement.

What the motion prompt can (and can't) do

Think of the prompt as a director's note, not a storyboard. Camera moves ("slow push in," "gentle pan"), expressions ("she smiles," "he looks up") and ambient motion ("leaves rustle," "steam rises from the cup") all work well. Complex choreography, fast action and precise hand movements are where clips get unreliable — if a result glitches, simplify the request rather than rewording it. And when the photo itself is the problem, fix that first: a blurry source makes blurry motion, so run it through the upscaler if needed.
